Biography
Takashi Yamazaki is a student in Sakura Kinomoto's class whose defining habit is inventing detailed but false histories about almost any subject. Most classmates recognize the stories as nonsense, though Sakura and Syaoran often believe him. Chiharu Mihara, his friend since kindergarten, frequently interrupts his fabrications and drags him away.
Story spoilers
The original story presents Yamazaki and Chiharu as a couple, while the Cardcaptors English adaptation removes those romantic hints and describes them as cousins.
