Takashi Sugiyama

Takashi Sugiyama, known as Shindou, is a third-year business student at Kansei University and a resident of Chikuseisou's Room 205. An earnest student from Yamagata regarded as an honor student by the other residents, he once walked ten kilometers through the mountains each day for school. He is the first resident persuaded by Haiji to try running and becomes an important source of motivation for the others. Though new to the sport, Shindou trains with determination and wants to help his friends.
