Taito Kurogane

In the manga, Taito Kurogane meets Himea as a child and becomes the object of her affection. She places a curse on him so they will always be together, but after she is abducted, a spell erases Taito's memories of their meeting. Years later, he continues to dream of Himea calling his name.
Story spoilers
In the first episode, Taito remembers Himea and his feelings for her. After finding her in the park where they first met, the two are attacked by Gekkou.
