Subaru Sumeragi

Subaru Sumeragi is the younger twin of Hokuto and a member of the Sumeragi family, an old clan of onmyouji that has served Japan for centuries. From childhood he undergoes intensive spiritual training and becomes known for constantly wearing gloves.
Story spoilers
Subaru is trained to become the 13th head of the Sumeragi clan. On the day he takes that position, he encounters a mysterious young man beneath a cherry tree, but the meeting is later erased from his memory. His grandmother subsequently orders him never to let anyone see his hands and protects the gloves with a spell.
