Subaru Kujou

Subaru Kujou is an enigmatic, androgynous genius from Kyoto and a former member of the short-lived European Hoshigumi alongside Ratchet. Said never to have lost a competition or battle, Subaru approaches the world analytically and becomes intrigued by things that resist easy explanation, including Shinjiro's charisma and jazz. When others question Subaru's gender, the response is simply that “Subaru is Subaru” and gender is unimportant.
