Soun Tendou

Soun Tendou is the head of the Tendou household, father of three daughters, and part of one of the two families that practice Anything Goes Martial Arts. He owns a dojo, watches expenses carefully, and in the anime spends much of his time playing shogi with his old training partner Genma. Highly protective of his daughters, Soun is eager to see Akane and Ranma acknowledge their feelings so the school can continue, and he may start announcing wedding plans at the slightest romantic sign.
