Character profile
Slade
スレッドBiography
Slade is a quiet assassin and Beet's rival, though their rivalry is not hostile. He met Beet around the second or third year of Beet's three-year journey. Like Beet, Slade fights with spears and is especially skilled with Divine Wind, creating wind shuriken and tornadoes. His strongest attack, “tengeki of tornado,” creates an enormous tornado around an enemy while Slade moves unseen within the whirlwind and slashes with Silent Grave, his invisible wind spear Saiga.
Story spoilers
In the present story, Slade meets Beet and Poala at a port town that later becomes the battlefield for Beet and Belltoze. After their fight, Slade holds Belltoze off from killing a weakened Beet, but Belltoze eventually defeats him and throws him into a building, breaking an entire wall.
