Shuu Koibuchi is Kuranosuke's 30-year-old half-brother and serves as personal assistant to their father. A childhood incident involving their father leaves him fearful of women.
Story spoilers
After first seeing Tsukimi dressed up, Shuu becomes attracted to her, though he initially cannot recognize her in everyday clothes. He eventually recognizes Tsukimi in her usual appearance and remains in love with her. He supports her, visits with cakes and later confesses his feelings; when she misunderstands him, he decides to write a marriage proposal.
