Shugen

Shugen is the second-ranked Asaemon and an assistant instructor of the Yamada Clan. Dignified and diligent, he cares deeply for his fellow clansmen and strongly supports the qualifications of women serving as executioners. His sense of justice is severe: he regards criminals as inherently evil and believes lawbreakers should be punished without mercy.
