Shirabe Tsukuyomi is quiet and reserved but also passionate, stubborn, and fiercely protective of the people she values, especially Kirika. Because she considers herself poor at talking to others, she deliberately avoids getting too close to people outside that bond.
Story spoilers
As a child, Shirabe survived a traffic accident that killed both parents and left her with major memory loss. She was later taken by the F.I.S. and placed in the White Orphanage as a Receptor Child; the name Shirabe Tsukuyomi was given to her by the organization because she could no longer remember the original reading of her name.
