Shinobu Takatsuki is the eighteen-year-old son of M University's dean and Miyagi's former brother-in-law. Wealthy and talented, he has studied in Australia and believes strongly in fate and love.

After his sister's divorce, Shinobu rushes back to Japan to confess his feelings to Miyagi and seriously asks him to take responsibility.
