Shinku
真紅Reiner Rubin
Biography
Shinku is the fifth Rozen Maiden and the first doll introduced in the series. Regal and aristocratic in manner, she treats Jun as both medium and servant while also taking responsibility for guiding him. Beneath her cool exterior, Shinku is protective of Jun and her sisters, level-headed, and deeply afraid of imperfection. She fights with versatile rose-petal attacks and a cane wielded like a sword.
Story spoilers
Shinku desperately wants to become Alice but rejects the idea that doing so should require destroying her sisters. Father once gave her a special brooch bearing his image, which Suigintou later destroys out of jealousy. Shinku believes there must be another path to becoming Alice without following the deadly form of the Alice Game.
