Shinichi Izumi

Shinichi Izumi is a thoughtful, compassionate high-school student whose hand is taken over by a Parasite named Migi. He must coexist with Migi while hiding the truth from people who might kill or exploit him, even as he tries to protect humanity from other Parasites. Their ability to think independently and cooperate gives them a tactical advantage over ordinary Parasites.
