Story spoilers

In the manga, Ryubi's awakened dragon comes to inhabit Ryomou's left eye and later heals her from a fatal wound, giving her power comparable to the Three Rulers while she is believed to be dying because of it. In the anime, the dragon appears to be her own; after being badly injured by Teni, she awakens it, recovers, and later defeats Myosai at Chibi before working with Hakufu at a cosplay café.
