Shima Katase
片瀬志麻Shipon (しーぽん)
Biography
Shima Katase joins the Stellvia Foundation's space program with the dream of seeing the stars while looking forward rather than up. Exceptionally diligent and naturally gifted, she begins with strong programming skills but an uneven sense of confidence and difficulty with piloting.
Story spoilers
As training continues, Shima learns to accept mistakes rather than treating anything short of perfection as failure. Her piloting improves dramatically, and she eventually combines it with her programming ability to become far more capable in the cockpit.
