Shija
シジャGabimaru (画眉丸)
Biography
Shija is an elite Iwagakure shinobi assassin assigned to a second expeditionary team bound for Kotaku after the shogun grows impatient with the first mission. Quiet and mission-focused, Shija treats themself as a pawn of their master and prioritizes orders above personal concern, even for fellow ninja.
Story spoilers
The Iwa ninja team's actual mission is to kill Gabimaru and reclaim the title “Gabimaru the Hollow,” with Shija chosen as a possible successor. Shija also has a long history with Gabimaru and an intense, obsessive infatuation with him that can place loyalty to him in conflict with loyalty to Iwagakure.
