Shall Fen Shall

Shall has feelings for Ann without recognizing them himself. Volume 2 of the light novel reveals his deep attachment to Liz, though the account suggests his feelings for her were probably not romantic; by contrast, he is unwilling to let Ann go even when a safer life is available to her. After Ann tells him to leave and never return, he still searches for her when he believes she may be in danger.
