灼岩Shakuyaku / Kagan
Biography
Shakugan is a fused being combining Shakuyaku, a human, with Kagan, a katawara. She usually appears human but can transform her limbs into enormous rock pillars.
Story spoilers
Shakuyaku grew up poor and was sold to a monastery after hidden powers were discovered. An experiment merged her with the golem katawara Kagan, but the process went out of control. She lost her human appearance, escaped in a daze and killed many people, including members of her family, before eventually recovering as Shakugan.
