Story spoilers
She is a former member of the Light Music Club who once played in a heavy-metal band and hides that past. After the girls discover it, Ritsu blackmails Sawako into becoming the Light Music Club's adviser. Around the club, her wilder, lazier, and less responsible personality emerges, and she eventually names the band "After School Tea Time" when the members take too long to decide for themselves.
