Biography
Sarasa hopes to create a fertile land full of life and free from conflict. Emotional and quick to cry, she finds an unusual outlet in Shuri, a young man she meets at hot springs and around whom she can simply be herself.
Story spoilers
Sarasa's twin brother Tatara, known as the child of fate, is murdered. She assumes his name and identity, wields the sword of Byakko, and leads the survivors of Byakko Village while hiding her gender from many allies. As the story progresses, she develops significant skill in leadership and swordplay and becomes the central figure of the Tatara Army. She does not initially know that Shuri is the Red King, the enemy she hates.
