Biography
Saki Vashtal is an Asranian royal and lieutenant colonel who commands Area 88. Recognizable by his dark glasses and X-shaped forehead scar, he is the son of Abdael and remains loyal to Asran even after his father becomes a rebel leader. His pilots generally follow his orders despite not considering him an exceptional commander. In the manga and OAV, Saki is also shown as a capable Kfir pilot, while the television series keeps him in the control tower.
