Saki Morimi

Saki Morimi is a university student nearing graduation who lives with her married older sister's family. During a graduation trip, she visits Washington, D.C., meets Akira Takizawa, and lends him her coat, scarf, and hat after he helps her when police question her. After realizing her passport is still in the coat, she catches up with him and the two decide to return to Tokyo together.

Saki's friends are involved with the Eden system, while her growing fascination with the enigmatic Akira gradually draws her closer to him.
