Biography
Sai, known as Phantom Thief X, is a mysterious figure described as having exceptional strength, speed, and the ability to alter his cellular structure. He can take on other human forms and is fixated on discovering what gives people an identity.
Story spoilers
Sai can become an electronic being and absorb HAL, gaining HAL's Eye, which allows him to control people temporarily. In the anime, Yako identifies Sai as her half-brother. In the manga, Sai is revealed to be an altered clone of Sicks and to have been born as a girl; later events include his capture, renaming as XI, and death.
