Saguru Hakuba

Saguru Hakuba is a 17-year-old detective who works in both England and Japan and claims to have handled more cases than Heiji Hattori. He is intensely interested in culprits' motives and extraordinarily precise about time, carrying a pocket watch that loses only 0.001 seconds per year. In Magic Kaito 1412, his chief goal is capturing Kaitou Kid; the earlier anime specials instead focus him on the assassin Spider, using Kid as bait.
