Biography

Ryouta Kise is a 16-year-old freshman small forward at Kaijou High and the least experienced member of the Generation of Miracles, having started basketball only in his second year of middle school. His defining talent is Copy, which lets him mimic the moves and plays of other athletes, though at first he cannot reproduce the exceptional signature skills of the other Miracles. Kise respects Kuroko and wants to play with him again, and he also works as a model in his free time.

Story spoilers

Later in the manga, through intensive effort, Kise develops the ability to reproduce the other Generation of Miracles members' signature play. The technique consumes so much energy that he can maintain it for only about five minutes in a match.
