Piloting the Titan Model causes genetic changes and a lethal crystallization process. Ryou and Yumi survive until the end of the plan, but crystallization prevents their return home. After Yumi dies, Ryou makes one final effort against the Festum using Fenrir. A Fafner is later found; Puku then enters its cockpit and dies beside Ryou.
