Ryoko Koiso is the daughter of a Koiso-style kobujutsu karate master and begins with a determination to challenge high-school delinquents. Convinced that Kitano is both evil and extraordinarily strong, she seeks him out for a fight.
Story spoilers
After confronting Kitano, Ryoko realizes what he is really like and gradually grows close enough to him to become, more or less, his girlfriend.
