Ruri Aiba is a Lightstone and the founder of the Aiba Foundation, an organization created to fight Darkstones. She can transform a crystal into a Lightstone and place it in Alma so he can control his true powers.
Story spoilers
Ruri also becomes chairman of Alma's school to keep in contact with Alma. Ruri comes from a billionaire noble family whose other members were killed by a Darkstone. Her twin sister Aoi survives the same incident but is crystallized.
