Rockman X

Rockman X is the original robot created by Dr. Thomas Light and the template for all Reploids. After his creation, he was set to sleep in a capsule in Dr. Light's secret laboratory; centuries later, Dr. Cain discovered him and used X as the basis for the Reploid generation. X differs from other Reploids through the ability to have feelings and choose his own way, a trait that is also described as his main weakness.
