Biography
Ritsu Souma is the Monkey of the Zodiac and has grown up deeply insecure after watching his parents constantly apologize for him. Dressing in women's clothing makes him feel more comfortable, though he worries about burdening others. Tohru helps him begin to believe that his life has value even if he has not yet found his purpose.
Story spoilers
Ritsu later bonds with Mitsuru over their shared insecurities. By the manga's final chapter he has asked her on a date, and a bonus story presents them as a couple.
