Richard

Richard is born intersex and has heterochromia, with a yellow left eye and a purple right eye. Rejected by his mother but loved by his father, he grows up fearing abandonment and experiencing troubling visions of Joan of Arc. Living beneath his older brother's accomplishments, Richard trains hard to overcome his physical fragility and longs to remain close to his father while waiting for him to become king.
