Rex Owen

Rex Owen is a 12-year-old friend of Max who was found as an infant by paleontologist Dr. Owen inside an egg-like container at a New York dinosaur exhibit. While Dr. Owen searches for fossils, Rex stays with Max's family. His dinosaur partner is the Carnotaurus Ace, and despite being good-hearted, Rex has a very short temper and also enjoys playing violin.
