Remi Takashima is a four-year-old girl found alive beneath rubble after the building where she lived burns down. Because she is suspected of carrying the Beast gene, she is kept alive for experimentation.
Story spoilers
Remi can start fires with her mind but cannot control the ability. A fire she accidentally causes kills her mother, and another incident leads Jun to confront her. Jun ultimately embraces Remi as the flames subside, after which the child's body cracks apart and collapses.
