Rem

Rem is a female Shinigami in Death Note who deliberately gives Misa a Death Note and the Shinigami Eyes. Like Ryuk, she possesses two Death Notes.

Rem is strongly protective of Misa and openly distrusts Light, warning that she will act against him if Misa's life is cut short. Her concern for Misa distinguishes her relationship with humans from that of a detached observer.
