Rein

Rein is a Beast Tamer whose only combat-related abilities initially consist of weak fire and healing spells, leading to his expulsion from the hero's party. After forming a contract with Kanade, he discovers that contracts with members of the strongest races can grant him additional skills and make him progressively stronger.
