Rei Kuroki is a mysterious classmate of Akane and her friends who is not shown interacting with other people. She appears to have a connection to the Alone, making her seem potentially hostile.
Story spoilers
Rei comes from another world where she lost everything dear to her. A crow promises that her world can be restored if she uses the Alones to destroy the Manifestation Engine. Feather marks track how many arrows she can still fire, and if the final arrow is used before the engine is destroyed, she will disappear completely.
