Red Alert
Biography
In the G1 television series, Red Alert is the Autobot security director, has enhanced senses and is usually depicted as a friend of Inferno. In Transformers: Armada, Red Alert is one of the Autobots who comes to Earth with Optimus Prime and acts as their chief medic.
In Japan, the Cybertron character is named First Aid and is treated as an original character rather than the Armada character.
Story spoilers
In Armada, Red Alert is primarily responsible for rebuilding Smokescreen into Hoist. In the U.S. continuity, the same Armada character reappears in Transformers: Cybertron, where Red Alert fails to contain the black hole caused by the collapsing energon sun, joins Optimus Prime's team on Earth and later joins the new Space Bridge Project after Galvatron's final defeat.
