Rea Sanka

The potion does not kill her, but after she later falls from a cliff and dies, Rea revives as a zombie and begins living with Chihiro. Her death also leaves her with unusual physical strength. Rea is eventually revealed as a special case of zombification whose attachment to things can develop into a dangerous state called “Eater Confusion.” During one such episode she attacks Chihiro, but his confession helps restore her humanity in time for her to protect him from a collapsing roof.
