Prinny

In Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Makai Senki Disgaia 2 and Makai/Phantom Kingdom, Prinnies are penguin-like beings who can fight directly and explode when thrown into something, potentially setting off chain reactions with nearby Prinnies. They are humans judged worthless in life who must work in the Netherworld or Celestia to atone before they can be reincarnated. Different varieties include Captain Prinnies and Prinny Kings.
