Popo

Popo is an agile boy from a race known as the forest people. Dressed in clothing made from grass and armed with handmade boomerangs, he is eager to learn about the world.

Popo travels with a circus troupe to search for his father and investigate a strange change affecting the once-peaceful forest. He carries the Protector's Proof, an acorn-shaped pendant left by his father that can summon the powerful beetle Mushiking to help him.
