Paul Ferman is a man in his late twenties trying to become a great artist. His work is inspired by fairies, which he loves despite being unable to see them, and he seems friendly with Lydia after meeting her at Edgar's ball. Paul once hoped to be a poet, but Edgar encouraged him to pursue painting instead, earning Paul's lasting devotion.
Story spoilers
Paul's father was killed by the Prince's organization, and Paul later joins the Scarlet Moon in opposition to it. Even after learning that Edgar inherited the Prince's memories, Paul remains loyal to Edgar and regards him as another victim who sacrificed himself to protect his friends.
