Nuriko

Nuriko first appears in Emperor Hotohori's harem disguised as Kōrin. Kōrin was actually Nuriko's younger sister, who died young; Nuriko adopted her appearance to keep her memory alive. He later accepts that he has been living as Kōrin rather than himself, stops dressing as a woman, and admits that he loves Miaka. Nuriko is eventually killed by Ashitare, becoming the first of the seven Suzaku warriors to die; in Eikoden, he is reincarnated as a young girl named Ko Keishun.
