Nico

Nico is a fairy who takes the form of a cat and accompanies Lydia on her journey with Edgar. He prefers walking upright, can turn invisible, and can read and write human language. Despite being cowardly in a fight, Nico is invaluable as Lydia's adviser, information gatherer, and guide between the human and fairy worlds. He insists on being treated as a gentleman rather than an ordinary cat and has refined tastes in clothing, tea, and liquor.
