Nanase Kotobuki is a girl in Konoha's class who distrusts his habit of being nice to everyone, believing that he is putting on an act.
Story spoilers
Kotobuki had met Konoha once in junior high and quietly watched him afterward. Her apparent dislike masks romantic feelings and concern over how unhappy he seems. She becomes Konoha's girlfriend for much of the story, but he later chooses Touko instead. Although rejected, Kotobuki remains his best friend and continues struggling with her feelings for him.
