Story spoilers
Nanami is far stronger than her frail appearance suggests and possesses Perfect Observation, which allows her to copy and master techniques she witnesses. She can also recover unnaturally well from serious injuries and poisons, though her poor physical condition limits how long she can fight at full strength. Later she takes Akutou Bita, which forcibly heals her weaknesses, and asks Shichika to kill her so she can escape her persistent suffering. He ultimately grants that wish.
