Biography
Nagi Kengamine leads Scar Chain, a Deadman group seeking to expose the prison and win freedom. Because his vocal cords were removed after a rigged fight, he speaks through a voice synthesizer. His Branch of Sin, Owl's Eyeball, creates small floating explosive spheres that he can remotely control and detonate, and his desire for freedom is tied to the hope of seeing his child.
Story spoilers
It is later revealed that Nagi's son actually died before birth when his wife was killed. The loss fuels a savage second persona that Genkaku later forces to the surface with drugs. After Ganta restores Nagi's senses, Genkaku fatally wounds him; Nagi still helps stop Genkaku before dying shortly afterward.
