Story spoilers
In the manga, Nadeshiko is later revealed to be a boy named Nagihiko, raised under a Fujisaki family tradition in which males train as oyama and perform female roles. Nagihiko later studies dancing in Europe and is chosen to serve as interim Jack. A second Guardian Character, Rhythm, eventually hatches, enabling the Beat Jumper transformation and attacks such as Beat Dunk and Blaze Shoot; Temari also later returns, allowing the Yamato Mai Hime transformation.
