Musashi Tomoe

Musashi Tomoe is Getter Robo's third pilot, controlling the Bear machine and Getter-3. A short, powerful and extremely hot-blooded young man, he leads his prefecture's judo team and has yet to be defeated in a match. Although he fails the physical and mental tests required to pilot Getter Robo, his hot-blooded spirit and stubbornness make him a valued member of the team, while his goofy, clumsy personality supplies much of the original series' comedy. Compared with many other characters, his portrayal in the 1970s series is fairly close to the original manga.
