Story spoilers
Dai Mubai is the second prince of the Star Luo Empire's royal family. Because succession traditionally goes to the strongest royal, he competes with his older brother and is promised in marriage to Zhu Zhuqing through an agreement between their families. At age 13, he sets a record as the youngest person to reach the thirtieth rank before Tang San and Xiao Wu later surpass it.
