Biography
Motoko Aoyama is a formal 15-year-old high school student devoted to kendo. She claims descent from demon-slaying swordsmen and is remarkably skilled with a katana, capable of damaging large objects even with a wooden practice sword. Motoko is intimidated by her far more skilled sister Tsuruko and has a fear of turtles.
Story spoilers
Motoko initially dislikes Keitarō, seeing him as weak and lecherous, but gradually develops respect and then concealed affection for him. His influence also helps her become more comfortable with her femininity and more open with others.
